Memperluas Wawasan Seputar Polemik Bisnis - Relevansi pada Unit Usaha Mikro di Bontang Kuala
Abstract
Dalam bisnis, tidak hanya berbicara mengenai uang, melainkan bagaimana langkah cemerlang untuk merevitalisasi berbagai elemen yang terkoneksi dengan pertumbuhan bisnis itu sendiri. Elemen-elemen yang harus dikembangkan adalah input (kualitas SDM–modal–pengalaman), proses (omzet–upah), dan output (pangsa pasar–profit). Kenyatannya, terkadang tidak berjalan mulus. Dalam momen ini, peneliti memadukan ketiga elemen tersebut untuk diekspos dan didiskusikan kepada 35 bisnis mikro di Bontang Kuala yang mengandalkan kearifan lokal. Klaster bisnis kuliner dibedakan menjadi 2 macam: produk ikan asin dan akomodasi makanan (empek-empek, nugget, dan sosis ikan). Adapun hambatan yang kerap dihadapi adalah permodalan dan SDM, yang berpotensi menganggu omzet dan tenaga kerja, dan akhirnya memicu pangsa pasar dan profit yang tidak optimal. Berdasarkan sesi “transfer or knowledge” yang dimplementasikan, terbukti membantu pemilik bisnis untuk memahami dan memecahan masalah. Menggunakan literatur yang ada, pemikiran pebisnis dapat terbuka. Acara ini telah melampaui ekspetasi mereka, dimana mayoritas informan meresponnya secara positif. Kini, mereka juga dapat menyaring skenario apa yang relevan untuk diterapkan untuk mengantisipasi kendala dalam berbisnis. Sebab itu, karya ini sebagai acuan untuk makalah-makalah lain yang menyoroti kompleksitas bisnis ditingkat mikro.
