Abstract

Jurang senggani merupakan salah satu obyek wisata yang berlokasi di dusun Nglurup, kecamatan Sendang, kabupaten Tulungagung, merupakan salah satu obyek wisata andalan Kota Tulungagung karena pesona air terjun dan perkebunan kopi nya yang masih alami karena berada di dataran tinggi. Disamping keindahan alam yang disajikan terdapat kendala yaitu akses nya, untuk mencapai obyek wisata jurang senggani aksesnya masih berupa tanah lempung yang licin dan konturnya bergelombang karena sifat lempung yaitu ekspansif. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan pendampingan terkait pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang berada disekitar area wisata jurang senggani agar mereka mampu memaksimalkan sumber daya alam yang tersedia, serta memberikan pengetahuan terkait sistem pengerjaan struktur jalan dengan metode pasangan batu. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam menghadapi permasalahan mitra adalah metode edukatif yaitu melaksanakan pendekatan berupa sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan sebagai sarana transfer pengetahuan untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat. Hasil nyata dari pengabdian ini adalah pembangunan jalan pasangan batu yang berfungsi sebagai akses ke wisata air terjun Jurang Senggani.

 

Senggani Gorge is one of the tourist attractions located in Nglurup hamlet, Sentang district, Tulungagung regency, is one of the mainstay attractions of Tulungagung City because of the charm of waterfalls and coffee plantations that are still natural because they are in the highlands. In addition to the natural beauty presented, there are obstacles, namely access, to reach the Senggani Gorge tourist attraction, access is still in the form of slippery clay soil and undulating contours due to the nature of clay, which is expansive. The purpose of this community service is to provide assistance related to the management of natural resources around the Senggani Gorge tourist area so that they are able to maximize the available natural resources, as well as provide knowledge related to the road structure work system with the masonry method. The method used in dealing with partner problems is the educational method, which is to carry out an approach in the form of socialization, training and mentoring as a means of knowledge transfer for community empowerment. The real result of this dedication is the construction of a masonry road that serves as access to the Senggani Gorge waterfall tour.
