Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Pelatihan Edutourism dalam Peningkatan Masyarakat Pesisir Pulau Tunda, Banten

Abstract

Kawasan pesisir Pulau Tunda memiliki daya tarik yang luar biasa bagi pengembangan pariwisata di Provinsi Banten. Tujuannya untuk mengembangkan potensi masyarakat sekitar dalam menciptakan pemandu wisata lokal sebagai upaya meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di pesisir Pulau Tunda, Banten. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan di Pesisir Pulau Tunda Provinsi Banten pada Agustus 2021 dengan menggunakan metode Training of Trainer (ToT) dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Pelaksanaan Training of Trainer (ToT) dilakukan dengan metode pentahelix dengan kerjasama dari pemerintah, akademisi, pihak swasta, masyarakat dan media elektronik. Hasil pelatihan yang diperoleh adalah sebanyak 87% peserta memahami isi pelatihan eduwisata dan berminat menjadi pemandu wisata lokal sehingga perlu adanya perencanaan anggaran pengembangan kawasan pesisir yang dirancang setiap tahun yang menjadi penentu skala pengembangan potensi wisata di Pulau Tunda.

 

The coastal area of ​​Tunda Island has an extraordinary attraction for tourism development in Banten Province. The aim is to develop the potential of the surrounding community in creating local tourist guides as an effort to improve the economy of the community on the coast of Tunda Island, Banten. Community service activities carried out on the Coast of Tunda Island, Banten Province, in August 2021 using the Training of Trainer (ToT) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) methods. The implementation of the Training of Trainers (ToT) is carried out using the pentahelix method with collaboration from the government, academics, private parties, the community and electronic media. The results of the training obtained were as many as 87% of participants who understood the content of the edutourism training and were interested in becoming a local tour guide so that there was a need for budget planning for the development of coastal areas which was designed every year which made it a determinant of the scale of tourism potential development on Tunda Island.
