Abstract

Stunting merupakan permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan tumbuh kembang balita yang masih mengintai di Indosesia. Stunting mengancam Kesehatan balita tidak hanya pada tumbuh kembangnya saja, melainkan juga Kesehatan di masa depan. Beragam penyakit degeratif dapat mengancam kesehatan orang dewasa dengan Riwayat stunting yang tidak tertangani. Kejadian stunting di Indonesia masih termasuk tinggi. Penurunan angka stunting memerlukan peran dari berbagai stakeholder, salah satunya peran peternak dalam meningkatkan produktivitas ternak. Produktivitas ternak ini harus diikuti dengan penerapan manajemen rantai pasok daging domba yang efektif dan efisien. Harapannya rantai pasok tersebut dapat mempermudah akses konsumen untuk mendapatkan bahan pangan sumber protein hewani. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan program introduksi rancangan rantai pasok daging domba di kelompok peternak Desa Cibanten, Cijulang, Pangandaran. Program ini diharapkan mampu membuka wawasan para anggota kelompok peternak dan menjadi mediasi peningkatan stok serta konsumsi daging domba di level konsumen akhir.

 

Stunting is a problem related to the growth and development of toddlers that still lurks in Indonesia. Stunting threatens the health of toddlers not only in terms of their growth and development but also their health in the future. Various degenerative diseases can threaten the health of adults with a history of untreated stunting. The incidence of stunting in Indonesia is still high. Reducing stunting rates requires the role of various stakeholders, one of which is the role of breeders in increasing livestock productivity. This livestock productivity must be followed by the implementation of effective and efficient sheep meat supply chain management. The hope is that this supply chain can facilitate consumer access to obtain food sources of animal protein. This community service program is an introduction program for the lamb meat supply chain design in the farmer group of Cibanten Village, Cijulang, Pangandaran. It is hoped that this program will be able to broaden the insight of members of livestock groups and mediate an increase in stock and consumption of sheep meat at the final consumer level.
