Pengaruh Pemberian Jus Daging Buah Durian (Durio zibethinus Murr.) Terhadap Kadar Hemoglobin Tikus Putih Jantan Galur Sprague-Dawley

Abstract

Durio zibethinus mengandung beberapa senyawa antara lain fosfor (P), besi (Fe) dan asam folat yang diduga dapat meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin (Hb) dalam darah. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian dan konsentrasi jus daging buah D. zibethinus terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus) galur Sprague-Dawley. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimental yang terdiri atas 5 perlakuan yaitu kontrol negatif (akuades), kontrol positif (sirup penambah darah) dan jus daging buah D. zibethinus konsentrasi 10, 20 dan 30%, masing-masing perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Pengambilan data kadar hemoglobin dilakukan menggunakan teknik point of care testing (POCT) menggunakan alat Easy Touch GCHb. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian jus daging buah D. zibethinus berpengaruh terhadap kadar Hb pada R. norvegicus jantan galur Sprague-Dawley. Jus daging buah D. zibethinus konsentrasi 30% memberikan peningkatan kadar Hb paling tinggi yaitu 6,53% dibandingkan konsentrasi 20 dan 10% serta kontrol negatif (akuades) sebesar 4,01; 2,46 dan 0,25% sedangkan kontrol positif didapatkan rata-rata persentase peningkatan kadar hemoglobin sebesar 10,76%. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi pemberian jus buah durian, kadar hemoglobinnya akan meningkat.

 

Durio zibethinus contains several compounds including phosphorus (P), iron (Fe), and folic acid, which are suspected to increase hemoglobin (Hb) levels in the blood. This study aims to determine the effect of the administration and concentration of D. zibethinus fruit juice on hemoglobin levels in male white rats (Rattus norvegicus) of the Sprague Dawley strain. This research was conducted using an experimental method consisting of 5 treatments: negative control (aquadest), positive control (blood-boosting syrup), and D. zibethinus fruit juice at concentrations of 10%, 20%, and 30%, with each treatment repeated 3 times. Hemoglobin level data collection was performed using point of care testing (POCT) technique with the Easy Touch GCHb device. The results showed that the administration of D. zibethinus fruit juice affected Hb levels in male R. norvegicus of the Sprague Dawley strain. D. zibethinus fruit juice at a concentration of 30% provided the highest increase in Hb levels, namely 6,53%, compared to concentrations of 20% and 10% as well as the negative control at 4,01%, 2,46%, and 0,25% respectively, while the positive control showed an average percentage increase in hemoglobin levels of 10,76%. The higher the concentration of durian fruit juice given, the more the hemoglobin levels increased.
